Amla Oil

Amla or Gooseberry tree grows in India and Middle East, and has been widely used in Ayurveda for more than thousand years, now. The fruit of the amla tree is used for making medicines. Amla is also known as Phyllanthus Emblica, Emblic Myrobalan, Gooseberry and Dhatrik. The base oil which is used in the preparation of amla oil is sesame oil, coconut oil and mineral oil. The amla fruit is soaked in the oil for a few days and then it filtered and purified. The oil has a musky and strong smell and promotes hair growth and improves eyesight.
