I'm 29 n I've been masturbating very very very excessively since 11. Due to which I believed I've hindered my puberty because I've the same very small penis size which I had while I was 11. Actually as long as I can remember my 1st stage of puberty (ie enlargement of scotrum n small pubic hair started appearing) was taking place normally because I wasn't ejaculating semen n I didn't lost any minerals and vitamins. But by 12 when I started ejaculating I was loosing a lot of essential nutrients, minerals, vitamins etc. N I've learned it from a reliable source that each ejaculation contains about 3-5 mg of zinc, n zinc deficiency can hampers sexual maturation during puberty. And then I got so addicted that I've been masturbating throughout my life until recently ie in the month of August I decided to cut it down to the possible minimum extent. N in these 3 months I've masturbated just 7 times. N by now I'm already seeing some physical improvements like: .Continuation follows.

Max twice a week. Masturbate Masturbation is a common activity. It’s a natural and safe way to explore your body, feel pleasure, and release built-up sexual tension. It occurs among people of all backgrounds, genders, and races. Despite the myths, there are actually no physically harmful side effects of masturbation. However, excessive masturbation can negatively impact your relationships and everyday life. Other than that, masturbation is a fun, normal, and healthy act. Keep reading to learn more about the side effects and potential health benefits of masturbation. Side effects of masturbation Masturbation doesn’t have any harmful side effects, though some people may feel guilty about masturbating or have issues with chronic masturbation. Masturbation and guilt Some people may feel guilty about masturbating because of cultural, spiritual, or religious beliefs. Masturbation is neither wrong nor immoral, but you may still hear messages that self-pleasure is “dirty” and “shameful.” If you feel guilty over masturbating, speak with someone you trust about why you feel this way and how you can move past that guilt. There are also therapists that specialize in sexual health and may be a good resource. Addiction to masturbation Some people can and do become addicted to masturbating. You may be spending too much time masturbating if masturbation causes you to: skip your chores or daily activities miss work or school cancel plans with friends or family miss important social events Being addicted to masturbation can have a negative impact on your relationships and other parts of your life. Masturbating too much may interrupt your work or studies, which can lower productivity. It may also hurt your relationships and friendships because you don’t spend as much time with your loved ones as you used to, or don’t pay attention to their needs. If you’re worried you may be addicted to masturbation, speak with your doctor or a counselor about ways to cut down on masturbating. Talk therapy can help you manage your addiction. You could also cut down by replacing masturbation with other activities. Next time you have an urge to masturbate, try: going for a run writing in a journal spending time with friends going for a walk Does masturbation cause a decrease in sexual sensitivity? For women who have sexual dysfunction, enhanced stimulation, including masturbation, can help increase sexual desire and sensitivity. In fact, two 2009 studies found that vibrator use among women and men has been linked to an increase in desire, arousal, and overall sexual function. Women also reported an increase in lubrication, while men reported better erectile function, according to the studies. Masturbation can affect sensitivity during sex for men because of their technique. Research has shown that too tight of a grip on a penis during masturbation can decrease sensation. Sexual health experts recommend changing your technique during masturbation to restore sensitivity levels during sex. Benefits of masturbation Masturbation is a healthy sexual activity that has many benefits for your physical and mental health. There are limited studies on the benefits of masturbation, but studies on sexual intercourse and anecdotal reports suggest that sexual stimulation, including stimulation through masturbation, may help you: relieve built-up stress sleep better boost your mood relax feel pleasure relieve cramps release sexual tension have better sex better understand your wants and needs Couples may also mutually masturbate to explore different desires, as well as avoid pregnancy. Self-pleasuring also helps you prevent sexually transmitted infection. Masturbation is a healthy, natural, and safe way to practice self-love and improve your health. Masturbating may have many benefits for your mind and body. Despite the possibility of addiction, there are no harmful side effects. You should feel free to enjoy self-pleasure without guilt or shame. Speak with a therapist or someone you trust about any negative feelings you have.

Antioxidants for Healthy Penis Skin

Because many men think of their penis primarily in terms of its usefulness in sexual activities, they don't always remember that good penis health means more than taking steps to ensure a solid working erection. But in fact, there are many different aspects of penis health, including taking steps to ensure healthy penis skin, both for practical and aesthetic reasons. Part of keeping penis skin healthy involves incorporating antioxidants into the penis care routine.

What are antioxidants?

On a technical level, an antioxidant is a molecule that helps keep other molecules from getting oxidized. Oxidation, in turn, is a chemical process that creates something called free radicals, which then can cause damage to cells, such as skin cells. They can also contribute to heart disease, cancer and other health conditions. However, not all free radicals are bad, and a certain amount of them are useful. For example, oxidation is important in helping the liver detoxify food and the body to help fight certain bacteria.

On a more-than-molecular level, antioxidants refers to those vitamins, minerals and nutrients that have an ability to keep those free radicals (and the damage they do) at bay.

How do antioxidants help skin?

Many skin care products are rich in antioxidants, because keeping oxidative stress from damaging skin cells helps ensure the health of skin. There are many things that can damage the skin, both on the surface and on a more molecular level. The stronger the skin is on the molecular level, the better it is able to withstand attacks on the surface level.

How does a person get antioxidants?

The body itself makes some antioxidants and depends upon a healthy diet to help supplement those amounts. Some foods are richer sources of antioxidants than others. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the following are some foods particularly high in antioxidants:

- Goji berries

- Wild blueberries

- Dark chocolate

- Pecans

- Artichokes

- Elderberries

- Kidney beans

- Cranberries

- Blackberries

- Cilantro

And these are some of the herbs that are very good sources of antioxidants:

- Clove

- Cinnamon

- Oregano

- Turmeric

- Cocoa

- Cumin

- Dried parsley

- Basil

- Ginger

- Thyme

As mentioned earlier, many skin care products are also good sources of antioxidants. This can be especially important because skin that is damaged by free radicals can be vulnerable - and unattractive as well.

Free radical damage is one of the things that leads to skin looking prematurely aged. It can contribute to drying out and to the cracks, wrinkles and blemishes that can mar otherwise attractive skin.

This is as true of penis skin as it is of skin elsewhere on the body. Penis skin is naturally delicate, so that the organ is more readily receptive to friction and stimulation. This can also make it more susceptible to cracking and wrinkling. When cracks appear on the penis skin, they can also open up a pathway for bacteria to get inside, creating further penis health concerns.

For this reason, penis skin needs to be exposed to a healthy level of antioxidants. One way to help achieve this is through the daily application of a first rate penis health crème (health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin). Clearly, for it to be effective, the crème must include antioxidants. This can more readily be achieved if the crème contains vitamins A and C, as well as alpha lipoic acid. All three of these have antioxidant capabilities. Vitamin A has the added bonus of fighting bacteria that cause penis odor, while vitamin C also helps give penis skin its necessary tone and elasticity. Alpha lipoic acid has strong antioxidant properties on its own and also helps boost those of vitamin C.

Health Benefits of Soybeans

1.     Soybeans can help individuals control weight.

Soybeans have been known to suppress the appetite, helping people eliminate the chances of overeating that leads to obesity and other health related risks. Also, soybeans provide considerable amounts of protein, which can lead to weight gain when taken in large quantities. The weight obtained from soybeans could protect the individual from chronic diseases, such as type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.

2.     Soybeans can contribute to improving your sleep.

Soybeans have a high content of magnesium, which is a mineral that is directly linked to improving the quality, duration, and tranquillity of sleep. Soybeans also help regulate the metabolism, to help reduce sleep disorders and the occurrence of insomnia.

3.     Soybeans may help prevent and manage type 2 diabetes.

Soybeans have the ability to increase insulin receptors in the body. This helps the body to handle the disease effectively or prevents diabetes from forming at all.

4.     Soybeans can contribute to improving circulation and oxygenation.

Soybeans are rich in copper and iron. Both are essential for the red blood cell formation. Increased red blood cell production increases oxygen to the cells and improves the metabolic activity. This prevents conditions like anemia.

5.     Soybeans may help to improve your digestive health.

Fiber can help prevent constipation and stimulate the contractions of the smooth muscles that forces food through your system. This aids in preventing dangerous conditions like colorectal cancer.

6.     Soybeans can help decrease the risk of congenital disabilities.

Soybeans are rich in the B-vitamin complex, particularly in folic acid. Folic acid helps the body to make healthy red blood cells and prevents anemia. It is also important for maintaining rapid cell division and growth during infancy and pregnancy. A deficiency of folic acid in pregnant women can lead to the birth of underweight infants and may also result in neural tube defects in newborns.

7.     Soybeans have a significant vitamin and mineral density.

Soybeans are an excellent source of calcium, magnesium, copper, selenium, and zinc. These have a role in preventing osteoporosis and help speed the bone healing process.

HIV and AIDS Are Not Same! See How It Differs From Each Other

HIV and AIDS Are Not Same! See How It Differs From Each Other

What is HIV?

HIV is a virus that attacks the immune system, which is our body’s natural defence against illness. The virus destroys a type of white blood cell in the immune system called a T-helper cell, and makes copies of itself inside these cells. T-helper cells are also referred to as CD4 cells.

As HIV destroys more CD4 cells and makes more copies of itself, it gradually breaks down a person’s immune system. This means someone living with HIV, who is not receiving treatment, will find it harder and harder to fight off infections and diseases.

If HIV is left untreated, it may take up to 10 or 15 years for the immune system to be so severely damaged it can no longer defend itself at all. However, the speed HIV progresses will vary depending on age, health and background.

Basic facts about HIV

  • HIV stands for human immunodeficiency virus.
  • There is effective antiretroviral treatment available so people with HIV can live a normal, healthy life.
  • The earlier HIV is diagnosed, the sooner treatment can start – leading to better long term health. So regular testing for HIV is important.
  • HIV is found in semen, blood, vaginal and anal fluids, and breast milk.
  • HIV cannot be transmitted through sweat, saliva or urine.
  • Using male condoms or female condoms during sex is the best way to prevent HIV and other sexually transmitted infections.
  • If you inject drugs, always use a clean needle and syringe, and never share equipment.
  • If you are pregnant and living with HIV, the virus in your blood could pass into your baby’s body, or after giving birth through breastfeeding. Taking HIV treatment virtually eliminates this risk.

What is AIDS?

AIDS is not a virus but a set of symptoms (or syndrome) caused by the HIV virus. A person is said to have AIDS when their immune system is too weak to fight off infection, and they develop certain defining symptoms and illnesses. This is the last stage of HIV, when the infection is very advanced, and if left untreated will lead to death.

Basic facts about AIDS

  • AIDS stands for acquired immune deficiency syndrome.
  • AIDS is also referred to as advanced HIV infection or late-stage HIV.
  • AIDS is a set of symptoms and illnesses that develop as a result of advanced HIV infection which has destroyed the immune system.
  • Treatment for HIV means that more people are staying well, with fewer people developing AIDS.

Although there is currently no cure for HIV with the right treatment and support, people with HIV can live long and healthy lives. To do this, it is especially important to take treatment correctly and deal with any possible side-effects.

Acne - Is Laser/Light Procedure Beneficial?

Acne - Is Laser/Light Procedure Beneficial?

Acne is one of the major problems faced by teenagers and young adults. When active, acne causes burning and pain on the skin. Once they dry off, they leave the scars and marks. However, with advancement in cosmetic surgery, there are a number of options available which can make the scars disappear almost completely.

How is it done?

  1. Laser/light procedure is used in a number of skin conditions, in addition to acne scar treatment. During the procedure, a beam of intense light is focused on the skin, which removes the acne scar without damaging the surrounding tissue.
  2. Laser is used in all kinds of acne, such as papules, pustules, whiteheads, blackheads, cysts, and nodules. Acne is caused by bacteria, and when a beam of laser is applied, these get activated, which damages the bacterial wall and kills the bacteria. The reduced amount of bacteria also reduces the severity of the acne. Laser also helps reduce the amount of sebum production, thereby reducing incidence of acne. Most people require about three settings with a month’s break in between. However, the exact treatment plan will depend on the location and intensity of acne and skin type.

Prior to the procedure:
Have a detailed talk with your surgeon on what to expect after the procedure, including potential risks and outcomes. It is important to keep the following things in mind to achieve the best outcome:

  1. Avoid sunbathing, waxing, and collagen injections for at least 10–15 days before the procedure.
  2. Avoid irritants in the area, including perfumes and deodorants while the treatment is on.
  3. Avoid medicines like aspirin and other anti-inflammatory drugs and herbal supplements 2 weeks before the procedure, which may increase risk of bleeding .

Post treatment
Once you leave the clinic, the treated area may be pink or red for about 4 to 8 hours. There could be a slight prickly sensation on the treated area, with mild swelling, which will subside over the next few days. Cool packs or moist cloths can be used to reduce the sensation. A good moisturizer can also be used twice a day to soothe the skin. Makeup is to be used only after the redness and prickly sensation have subsided. The recovery period may take about weeks to months after the procedure, depending on the type of skin and acne.

Benefits
More and more people are choosing to go for laser therapy to get rid of their acne scars because of the following benefits—minimally invasive, is done in one sitting, reduced recovery time, reduced pain, and can be clubbed with other acne therapy modes. With the latest advancements, laser definitely is useful and has been successful in treating acne. So, your acne marks are sure to go away!

Torn Meniscus: What You Need To Know About It?

Torn Meniscus: What You Need To Know About It?

Your knees are one of the most vulnerable parts of your bodies. In case of strenuous or vigorous activities, knees are more prone to damage and injury than the other parts. Several of the knee tissues are fairly delicate and often are easily impaired. Among the other knee tissue injuries, meniscus tears are perhaps the most frequent. Meniscus is essentially a cartilage that protects and stabilizes the knee joints. However, an untoward twist or a strain can lead to a tear in the meniscus. Meniscus tears are a common phenomenon among athletes and sportsmen. They have been noted to be more recurrent in older individuals.

Some of the early symptoms that indicate the onset of a meniscus tear are swelling and difficulty in bending or straightening of the leg. Sometimes a "locking sensation" in the knees also forebodes a torn meniscus. The inflammation potentially causes a lot of pain and irritation. While, it is fairly easy to ignore a meniscus tear for a normal knee injury, prolonged overlooking may only aggravate the pain and worsen the condition. The process of diagnosing a meniscus tear usually involves an MRI scan and an X-ray examination, over and above a detailed evaluation of the wound.

Treating meniscus tears vary according to the extent of the injury. Depending upon the location and the depth of the tear, various cures can be tried. The healing process, however, depends upon other allied factors such as age, level of physical activities and one's medical history. An external and minor injury is easily mendable. Whereas, graver injuries are resolved through surgical means. The other non-operative means include certain prescribed medicines and specific exercises. Some of the recommended ways of battling a meniscus tear can be enlisted as:

  1. Resting the knee by limiting the activities that involve excessive use of the legs or they may potentially strain the leg muscles.
  2. Applying ice pack can significantly bring relief to the swelling and the pain in the injured knee. Doctors advice regular use for a duration of at least 15 days.
  3. Compressing the knee using an elastic bandage or neoprene sleeve reduces the swelling in the knee.
  4. Prescribed medicines in the likes of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs can be effective remedies for a meniscus tear. However, one must mandatorily consult a doctor before consuming such medicines.
