Hello Sir, I am doing lots of work at my home like all housewife activity. After this I do not feel hungry at all. In breakfast I usually drink milk and I rarely do breakfast. In lunch I use to eat 2 chapati with pulse and veges and after this I do not eat at all. I rarely eat at evening. Why I do not feel hungry. If their is anything you suggest so please suggest me. A balanced diet or a medicine which help me in eating the food. I married recently so please help me in becoming healthy.

Hello, Thanks for your query on Lybrate As per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this- 1) Do a clinical examination by your Doctor and do few tests like (CBC with differential, Stool examinations, and ultrasound) to rule out other pathology. 2) Do take (2-HER tab)once a day for one month and it is an iron supplement and you need to take it regularly. Do follow - a) Take iron tablets on an empty stomach, However, because iron tablets can upset your stomach, you may need to take your iron tablets with meals. B) Don't take iron with antacids. Medications that immediately relieve heartburn symptoms can interfere with the absorption of iron. Take iron two hours before or four hours after you take antacids. C) Take iron tablets with vitamin C. Vitamin C improves the absorption of iron. So take your iron tablets with a glass of orange juice or with a vitamin C supplement. 3) Take stool softener (Cremaffin plus) at bedtime if you got constipation due to iron tabs. 4) Do take (Liv-52) syrup regularly to increase your appetite and help digestion. Do follow lifestyle modifications like this- 1) Do take foods rich in iron which include Red meat, Poultry, Seafood, Beans, Dark green leafy vegetables, such as spinach, Dried fruit, such as raisins and apricots, Iron-fortified cereals, bread, and pasta. 2) Do take Vitamin C and it is found in Broccoli, Grapefruit, Kiwi, Leafy greens, Melons, Oranges, Peppers, Strawberries, Tangerines, and Tomatoes.
