Hello, Thanks for your query on Lybrate "As" per your clinical history is concerned you can take both these medications and record your body temperature every 6 hours. Do follow lifestyle modifications like this - 1)Wash your hands. Thorough and frequent hand-washing is an effective way to prevent many common infections. Or use alcohol-based hand sanitizers if soap and water aren't readily available. 2)Contain your coughs and sneezes. Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or a cough. To avoid contaminating your hands, cough or sneeze into a tissue or into the inner crook of your elbow. 3)Try to avoid crowds. Flu spreads easily wherever people congregate in schools, office buildings, auditoriums and public transportation. By avoiding crowds during peak Flu season, you reduce your chances of infection. Hope that helps

Hello, Thanks for your query on Lybrate "As" per your clinical history is concerned please do a clinical examination by your local doctor Neurologist and to confirm exact cause do few investigations like cbc with differential and one MRI scan and if it is confirmed as a migraine then you can discuss preventive medication like Amitriptyline-25 mg once a day at bedtime and follow few lifestyle modifications like this - 1) Avoid triggers. If certain foods or odors seem to have triggered your Migraines in the past, avoid them. 2) Try to reduce your caffeine intake and avoid tobacco. 3) Try to establish a daily routine with regular sleep patterns and regular meals. In addition, try to control stress. 4) Do exercise regularly. Regular aerobic exercise reduces tension and can help prevent Migraines. If your doctor agrees, choose any aerobic exercise you enjoy, including walking, swimming, and cycling. Warm up slowly, however, because sudden, intense exercise can cause headaches. 5) Obesity is also thought to be a factor in Migraine headaches, and regular exercise can help you maintain a healthy weight or lose weight. 6) Try to avoid or reduce the medications you take that contain estrogen-like contraceptive pills. Hope that helps.

Hello, Thanks for your query on Lybrate "As" per your liver fibroscan report is concerned it is abnormal so you have liver disease which needs to be confirmed after clinical correlation so do a clinical examination by your Doctor[Hepatologist] soon. Do follow lifestyle modifications like this - 1) Try to avoid alcohol. 2) Eat a healthy diet. Choose a plant-based diet that's full of fruits and vegetables. Select whole grains and lean sources of protein. Reduce the amount of fatty and fried foods you eat. Consult with a dietician to make a diet chart. 3) Maintain a healthy weight. An excess amount of body fat can damage your liver. Talk to your doctor about a weight-loss plan if you are obese or overweight. 4) Reduce your risk of Hepatitis. Sharing needles and having unprotected sex can increase your risk of Hepatitis B and C. Ask your doctor about Hepatitis vaccinations. Hope that helps.

Hello, Thanks for your query on Lybrate "As" per your clinical history is concerned please take medications for thyroid and check your present TSH level and adjust the dose. Do follow few lifestyle modifications like this - 1)Take foods high in Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids such as leafy green vegetables, salmon, nuts, seeds, and shrimp etc. 2)Drink plenty of fluids throughout the day. Water and green tea can be sipped on in between meals to prevent dehydration. 3)Take Iodine rich foods such as seaweed and algae etc. 4)Foods such as broccoli, cauliflower, soy, beans, and spinach can actually slow down the functioning of the thyroid so they should be eaten in small quantities. 5)Avoid artificial sweeteners, caffeine, dairy, and alcohol when on a diet for hypothyroidism and add a multivitamin caps [Rejuvit Plus]regularly. 6)Do exercise and yoga regularly. Yoga poses such as the Sun Salutation, the Dead Man's pose, the Wind-Relieving pose, Head to Knee Pose, the Fish pose and the breathing techniques are vital for providing energy, improving blood circulation and relaxing the nervous system along with improving the functioning of the thyroid gland. Hope that helps

Hello, Thanks for query on Lybrate "As" per your clinical history is concerned please do a clinical examination by your Doctor(ENT) and do few investigations to confirm exact pathology (CBC with differential, Nasal endoscopy, and a CT scan. Regarding medication, you can take (Sinarest Tab)every 8 hours for a headache and (DOXY-100 MG)once a day for 10 days. Do follow lifestyle modifications like this - 1) Try to avoid upper respiratory infections. Minimize contact with people who have colds. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water, especially before your meals. 2) Carefully manage your Allergies. Work with your doctor to keep symptoms under control. Avoid cigarette smoke and polluted air. Tobacco smoke and other pollutants can irritate and inflame your lungs and nasal passages. 3) Use a humidifier. Sir I am suffering from coughing for a long time now. The problem has been for six months now. And after eating food, coughing starts and I vomit. What should I do now.

MBBS
Internal Medicine Specialist, Kendujhar
Hello, Thanks for your query on Lybrate "As" per your clinical history is concerned your problem is due to your stomach so to confirm exact cause do a clinical examination by your Doctor[Gastro] and do an endoscopy. Regarding medication, you can take [pantoprazole-40mg] once a day and [Baclofen-10mg]twice a day. Do follow lifestyle modifications like this- 1)Maintain a healthy weight. Excess pounds put pressure on your abdomen, pushing up your stomach and causing acid to back up into your esophagus. If your weight is healthy, work to maintain it. If you are overweight or obese, work to slowly lose weight no more than 1 or 2 pounds (0.5 to 1 kilogram) a week. 2)Avoid tight-fitting clothing. Clothes that fit tightly around your waist put pressure on your abdomen and the lower esophageal sphincter. 3)Avoid foods and drinks that trigger Heartburn.Common triggers such as fatty or fried foods, tomato sauce, alcohol, chocolate, mint, garlic, onion, and caffeine may make Heartburn worse. 4)Eat smaller meals. Avoid overeating by eating smaller meals. Don't lie down after a meal. Wait at least three hours after eating before lying down or going to bed. 5)Elevate the head of your bed while sleeping. Place wood or cement blocks under the feet of your bed so that the head end is raised by 6 to 9 inches. 6)Don't smoke. Smoking decreases the lower esophageal sphincter's ability to function properly. Hope that helps
