Dear Lybrateuser, - Blood pressure can be controlled naturally by leading a healthy lifestyle including a well balanced diet & regular exercise - have a salt restricted diet, avoid fried, processed & foods containing saturated & trans fats, namkeens, pickles & papads - have more of fibre containing foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains instead of refined ones, legumes, sprouts, a handful of nuts such almonds, walnuts, pista & cashews - have heart healthy fats such as in fish like salmon, tuna & mackeral, olive & canola oil for cooking, nuts, avocados & flax seeds - do regular exercise like brisk walking, jogging, swimming, play a game, include in your daily schedule yoga, meditation & deep breathing for 10-15 min which will help reduce bp & to keep fit - destress by proper sleep for at least 7-8 hrs at night, read or listen to music or follow a hobby - reduce weight by diet & exercise.
