After having food I feel stomach bloated and backache. Some tym without eating also stomach bloating. All reports r normal only sgpt increase. Now I take ud-live fir that. But bloating and because is same.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Your problem could be due to acidity - avoid fried, spicy & junk food, also limit tea, coffee intake to 1-2 cups per day - chew your food well, do not skip meals, have meals on time, have 5-6 small meals rather than three large meals including snacks, do not lye down for 1-2 hrs after meals, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bed time - have 7-8 glasses of water per day for proper digestion & hydration - do regular exercise like walking, jogging, swimming, cycling for 20-30 min, also do yoga & deep breathing for 10-15 min daily morning to reduce weight & keep your mind & body fit - take syrup Gelusil, 2 teaspoonful three times a day half an hour after meals - reduce your weight by diet & exercise.

I age - 21, weight- 58 kg. I have started working out from ten days. In morning I walk and jog a distance of 2.75 km and in the evening I have a gym workout session, where I do cardio for ten minutes, where im able to now cover a distance of 1.5 km. My legs are paining from the day I started workout. But the day before it were aching a bit less, so yesterday I skipped my morning run and today when I went for the morning run, I could not jogg even 500 meters. I covered my daily schedule distance via walking. Please suggest me if this is normal or any special precautions I should take. thanks.

Dear Lybrateuser, - The basic principle of exercise is that you have to gradually increase the time & intensity of your workout - if pain is there you are harming the body by overdoing the exercises - take rest for 2-3 days or till pain subsides then again start gradually & change every 2-3 weeks - take a pain relief tablet if pain is more - apply pain relief gel three times a day - warm up by cardio & stretching for 5-10 min before starting a session & cool down after it - have a snack about half an hour before a workout like a fruit, a glass of milk with chocolate powder, nuts, a sandwich & also a protein snack after it - drink water before, during & after a workout - take advise of a physical trainer who will guide you properly for your workouts.

Dear Lybrateuser, - For overall good health including sexual health you have to have a well balanced diet, do regular exercise, sleep well & keep your stress levels low - have more of fruits & vegetables including green leafy & seasonal ones, whole grains like whole wheat chapati/ bread, brown rice, oats, corn, low fat milk & milk products, legumes, nuts such as almonds, walnuts, pista, cashews, seeds such as peanuts, ground nuts, sesame, chia - avoid fried, processed & junk foods, also alcohol & smoke if you do - do regular exercise including jogging, swimming, play a game, also Level exercise for strengthening of pelvic floor muscles (the muscles involved are the ones which are used if we stop urination in between, these are the pelvic floor muscles which help in controlling erection & ejaculation, do 2-3 times for 4-5 min every day, also include yoga & deep breathing in your morning schedule for 5-10 min to relax your mind & body & reduce stress - sleep well for 7-8 hrs at night - try to keep a positive mental state & good relationship to have good sexual health.

I married women. Since 7-8 months I have problem in intercourse with my husband. After intercourse I have so much pain in my vagina for 2 -3 days after intercourse. Me and my husband intimate once a month only. This problem is not regular but when we have sex then after this problem occur. Please tell me what I do?

Dear lybrateuser, - Apply lox gel 2% about half an hour before intercourse on the inner entrance of vagina - also relax yourself during the act as getting tense or anxious contracts the muscles & can lead to pain after the act.

My face skin always looks red. I am using skin lite cream. It makes my skin glow, But slowly I noticed my skin becoming red so stop the cream but I noticed after stopping this cream my skin becoming pale. Dear lybrateuser, - Your skin may be sensitive to some ingridient in the cream - for natural glowing skin you have to have a well balanced diet to get all the essential nutrients from your diet - have more of fruits & vegetables, whole grains, legumes, milk & milk products, non veg, sprouts, beans, nuts - wash face with plain warm water 3-4 times a day - have 7-8 glasses of water for sufficient hydration - do regular walking, jogging, swimming, also do yoga& deep breathing to keep fit - sleep well for 7-8 hrs at night - apply a mild moisturizer if there is too much dryness in cold weather.

Dear lybrateuser, - Since the pain in your chest is on movement it could be due to bony or soft tissue problem - do not strain, bend or lift any weight till pain subsides - do hot fomentation of the affected area twice a day - apply pain relief gel three times a day - take a pain relief tablet 2-3 times a day after meals.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Frequent urination could be due to urinary tract infection - get investigation done urine RE/ME to know the cause, if some bacteria is detected then antibiotic sensitivity test can be done & antibiotic taken to cure it - take plenty of oral fluids including 7-8 glasses of water per day - consult a doctor.

Dear lybrateuser, - Do warm salt water gargles three times a day - avoid all cold fluids or refrigerated foods, have more of warm water, tea, coffee, milk, soup - avoid fried, spicy & junk foods, also exposure to dust, smoke, allergens - have a teaspoon of honey mixed in a glass of warm water daily in the morning - have 7-8 glasses of water for proper hydration.

My blood sugar is 300 plus from last four days. I have checked the same first time on 14th June. From last six months I'm taking 2 bottle of codine syrup everything day along with 4-5 bottles of soft drinks. But now I have quit all these things from 14th June. My question is. Dear Lybrateuser, - To be more specific do fasting blood sugar after 10-12 hrs of taking dinner in the next morning & postprandial after 2 hrs of taking breakfast - also do HbA1c which will show the blood sugar control over last 2-3 months -regular monitoring of blood sugar is required to know the sugar level after food, exercise, early morning after sleep, based on these the diabetologist will base his treatment which can include diet &exercise or also medication.

I'm slim guy. I'm unable to weight gain. I have tried 2,3 week by eating much, but no results. Then I went gym +more diet, it resulted gaining weight 12 kg in 3 month. Later I skipped gym and diet plan. 1 year later I checked my weight and saw that I have loosed 10 kg. Then after I ate much without gym, but no result. Recently I checked my blood .the reports say I have more eosinophil Less 25 oh vitamin d (total) Less Folate More red cell distribution width More rbc And other reports are ok. Is this report shows any prevention on gaining weight? Or what to be checked? Or what to do for gaining weight?

Dear Lybrateuser, -For weight gain you have to develop your muscles by having a well balanced diet with more of protein rich foods & regular exercises including moderate weight lifting exercises - have fruits & vegetables for folate deficiency, also whole grains, protein foods like eggs, non veg (if you have), milk & milk products like cheese, paneer, yogurt, butter milk, nuts, sprouts, legumes - have protein snacks in between meals like yogurt, paneer, milk shake, butter milk, non veg sandwich - drink 8-10 glasses of water or even more depending on your exercise schedule & intensity - for vit D try to be in sunshine for 10-15 min & have foods like eggs, milk & other dairy products - gain in muscle mass is a combination of diet & exercise & not only diet as it will only increase fats in the body.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Your HBA1C is high, it can be reduced by diet, exercise & medication - have more of fibrous foods, vegetables, fruits (avoid banana, chikoo, mango) have more of citrus fruits, legumes including beans, lentils, pulses, peas, sprouts, low fat milk & milk products, soya products, lean meats, nuts - do regular exercises like brisk walking, jogging, swimming, also moderate weight lifting 2-3 times a week, yoga & deep breathing daily morning for 5-10 min to keep your mind & body fit - sleep well for at least 7-8 hrs at night, keep your sleep & wake up time fixed - take medicines on time, avoid missing a dose, monitor blood sugar as advised by your doctor.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Your problem could be due to improper sleep, imbalanced diet, lack of exercise or hormonal disbalance - you should get proper restful sleep for at least 7-8 hrs in the night, nap only for half to one hour in the afternoon if you feel sleepy as more will disturb night sleep - have a well balanced diet with more of fruits & vegetables including green leafy ones, whole grains, legumes including lentils, beans, sprouts, peas, lean meats, nut - have snacks in between meals so that you get a constant supply of energy - do regular exercise like walking, jogging, swimming, yoga in the morning for 10-15 min to keep you alert & fresh the whole day - if not much improvement then consult a doctor as hormone level check will be required.
