Dear Lybrateuser, -Do steam inhalation twice a day - do warm salt water gargles three times a day - avoid all cold fluids & refrigerated foods, have more of warm fluids, tea, coffee, milk, soup - take tablet levocetirizine, 10 mg, 1 tablet daily in the evening - take syrup chericof, 2 teaspoonful three times a day - have 7-8 glasses of water for proper hydration - have a well balanced diet with more of fruits & vegetables, whole grains & protein foods - do regular exercise like walking, jogging, swimming for 20-30 min, also do yoga & deep breathing for 10-15 min daily morning to keep your body fit.

Dear lybrateuser, - Since your cold is chronic & round the year it could be due to chronic sinusitis, rhinitis, nasal problem like polyp or a deviated nasal septum, allergy to dust - avoid dust, smoke, cold environment as in an ac room, pets, sprays, perfumes - do steam inhalation twice a day regularly - take tablet levocetirizine, 10 mg, 1 tablet daily in the evening - avoid cold fluids including aerated drinks - have a well balanced diet withore of fruits & vegetables, whole grains, protein foods to boost your immunity - do regular exercise like walking, jogging, swimming, also yoga & deep breathing to keep fit - do x- ray paranasal sinus to rule put Amy other problem.

Dear Lybrateuser, - At your age pain chest could be due to acidity, anxiety or sedentary habit - avoid fried, spicy, sour & junk food, restrict intake of tea, coffee to 1-2 cups per day - chew your food well, do not skip meals, have meals on time, do not lye down for about an hour after meals, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime - take syrup Gelusil, 2 teaspoonful three times a day half an hour after meals - have 7-8 glasses of water per day for proper digestion -do regular exercise like brisk walking, jogging, swimming for 20-30 min, also do yoga & deep breathing for 5-10 min daily morning to keep fit.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Your fathers results are normal for his age - his diet should consist of more of fibrous foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, low fat dairy, lean meats, nuts, legumes including lentils, beans, pulses, sprouts - he should have 4-5 small meals rather than three large meals, do not skip meals, have meals on time - avoid fried, spicy, processed & junk foods - have 7-8 glasses of water for proper digestion - do regular exercise like walking for 20-30 min, also do yoga, meditation & deep breathing for 10-15 min daily morning to keep fit.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Along with medication your brother has to strictly follow lifestyle changes to bring his BP down - diet should contain more of fibrous foods, vegetables including green leafy & seasonal ones, fruits, whole grains like whole wheat, brown rice, oats, barley, low fat milk & milk products, lean meats especially fish like mackeral, tuna, sardines, salmon, soya products, mixed nuts like almonds, walnuts, pista, cashews - restrict salt & salty snacks, saturated & trans fat containg foods - do regular exercise like brisk walking, jogging, swimming, play game for 20-30 min, also do yoga, meditation & deep breathing for 5-10 min daily - destress by reading, listening to music, following a hobby - do regular checkups as advised by your doctor.

Dear lybrateuser, - Your glucose level is high for which lifestyle changes & medication is required - have more of fibre containing foods like vegetables, fruits( avoid banana, mango, cheekoo & grapes as they contain higher quantity of natural sugars, have berries, citrus fruits), whole grains, beans, lentils, pulses, lean meats, a handful of nuts - restrict your portion size, have 5-6 small meals rather than three large meals, do not skip meals, have meals on time - avoid fried, sweet, processed & junk foods - do regular exercise to keep your blood sugar under control - consult a diabetologist for medication & proper management of your condition.

When my left elbow pops, sometimes it pains. It happens only in left elbow. I am a regular student. I used to do regular exercises earlier but not now. Dear Lybrateuser, -To reduce your BP you have to follow some lifestyle changes - increase your fibre intake in the diet, have more of fruits & vegetables, whole grains, legumes including pulses, beans, lentils, peas, nuts, have low fat milk & milk products, healthy fats as in olive, canola oils, seafood including tuna, Indian Salmon, avocados, nuts -avoid fried, processed & junk foods - do regular exercise like walking, jogging, swimming, playing games, also do yoga, meditation & deep breathing, daily morning for 5-10 min - avoid salty, fried, processed & junk foods - destress by reading, listening to music, playing games, follow a hobby, sleep well for 7-8 hrs at night - check BP regularly - if not much improvement then you will require medication.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Your blood sugar level is high & you will require insulin to bring it down as advised by your doctor - along with medication you would require to lead a healthy lifestyle like have more of vegetables, fruits, beans, pulses, sprouts, lentils, nuts, low fat dairy, lean meats like seafood in your diet - avoid fried, processed & junk foods, sweets, bakery products, fried snacks - have 5-6 small meals rather than three large meals, do not skip meals, have meals on time, chew your food well, have healthy snacks like a fruit, sprouts, low fat yogurt - do regular exercise like brisk walking, jogging, swimming for 30-40 min, also yoga & deep breathing for 5-10 min daily (this can be done only after your blood sugar is controlled & stabilised, start slowly & gradually increase your time & intensity after taking your doctors advise) - reduce weight by diet & exercise - sleep well for 7-8 hrs at night - check your sugar levels regularly as advised & take medication on time.
