I am a 54 years old female. I am a known diabetic since 15 years n hypertensive since 8 yrs. I am on insulin therapy since 4 years n take metformin too. N for hypertension I take metosartan 50 mg n novostat cv 10. Now I am suffering from high bp mainly SBP .I got to know on routine examination yesterday. It is reaching as high 200 above. N since morning we r monitoring .Its SBP in the range 180 to 200. Since morning I haven't took any salt intake. I do not hav much symptoms but only hav some sort of tinnitus. Do not know exactly if its becoz of it or not. I took 2 metosartan tablets n 1 telmisartan since morning. But there's no improvement. Can you kindly suggest me some tablets or something. Waiting for an urgent reply. Thank you.

Regular physical activity can help lower your blood pressure, manage stress, reduce your risk of several health problems and keep your weight under control. 3) Limit alcohol and Don't smoke. 4) Manage stress. Reduce stress as much as possible. Practice healthy coping techniques, such as muscle relaxation, deep breathing or meditation. Getting regular physical activity and plenty of sleep can help, too.
