It showed: in spot test urine protein: 48 urine creatinine :25.1 pcr :1.91 in chemical examination: protein +30 ketone +15 leukocytes +70 pus cells 15-20. What does this value indicate? Is there any complications related?

Your fasting and pp blood sugar are low and hba1c test is not edvisable before three months .hence continue same medicine in half dose .repeat the fasting and pp blood sugar after 3 months.

There are multiple factors which doctor have to think before starting any medicine to diabetes patient 1 efficacy- powerful ness of medicine 2 safety-is this particular molecule can be given safely to this patient 3 associated problems- like heart kidney liver disease 4 additional benefit of this medicine 5 cost of the medicine- affordability based on the information you shared you need to do few things 1 take proper diet 2 do exercise 3 consult endocrinologist like me who can give you best possible combination considering all above factors.

Hi lybrate-user I understand that you are a diabetic on regular medication and your average blood glucose has been well controlled. However if you have provided complete information and there is no other reason, you have an element of diabetic neuropathy developing in your case. Now, the full workup would include a detailed clinical history of yours, in order to rule out any other cause of your symptoms so as to proceed with the treatment. Bottomline is that diabetic patients in due course of time are expected to develop weakness of peripheral nerves (neuropathy) which cannot be reversed but can be controlled with medicines and strict blood glucose control.
