Hi, I am 27 years old, I am working in software company where I need to sit more than 8 hours. Since last 6 months I am having gastric and last 3moths burning sensation in stomachs and heart. Also my left side body is not fine, althe time feeling headache on left side and pain or numbness in left leg. Is it weakness? My lips also get dry very soon and start cracking. Please suggest me what to do? I went for CT scan for abdomen. Nothing is negative.

Hi lybrate-user, from the details you gave, gastric (as you said) appears to be due to improper diet. A course of medicine (after consultation) can keep the symptoms under control followed by which you can take a balanced diet to avoid it in future. Pain and numbness is due to lumbar radiculopathy. Dear Lybrateuser, - Your sedentary lifestyle is causing your problems - find time to exercise in your break, go for 10-15 min walk or keep getting up every hour or two for drinking water, also keep your self well hydrated by consuming fluids & at least 7-8 glasses of water per day for proper digestion - have 4-5 meals including snacks in between your main meals, chew your food well, do not keep a gap more than 2-3 hrs between meals & a snack or so, do not skip a proper breakfast, try to combine a protein food in each of your meals & also as a snack - take an antacid half an be for meals to reduce pain & burning - get blood hemoglobin, sugar, cholesterol, thyroid levels, vit D & vit B12 levels checked to rule out any deficiency or changes in normal blood levels.
