My Mom is 59 years old and is diagnosed with diabetes recently. Her blood glucose fasting level is 184 mg/dl and blood glucose PP is 272 mg/dl and have been prescribed medicines for the same. She is also having high blood pressure since past 19 years and is taking BP tablets. I wanted to know what Fruits, vegetables and biscuits can she have?

Hello, To control blood glucose levels, need healthy diet food and physical activity. Your mother need low salt, complex carb diet. - Eat more high fibre food (whole grain breads, cereals, dried beans. -Low carb vegetables (cucumber, broccoli, carrots, radish, sweet potato, tomato, mushroom, cauliflower, cabbage) Fruits (apple, orange, guava, papaya, pear plum) Includes diabetic super food in diet. - fenugreek powder are rich in fibre (mucilage) which reduce blood glucose levels and improve glucose tolerance.
