Hi myself pooja I am 118 kg n pregnant wit twins n m in my 14th week pregnancy my doc said it can turn out to b worst pregnancy if I fail to take precautions. As you're overweight and with twins with family history of diabetes you have increased chances of developing pregnancy induced hypertension and gestational diabetes and also increased chances of preterm delivery. To avoid all these complications you should strictly follow your doctor's advice and prescription. During pregnancy you should not gain more than 5-9 kg of weight. You should take a healthy balanced protein rich diet, carbohydrate and fat restricted diet .do not take fried and junk food, carbonated drinks and juice. Take small frequent meals ,and a fibre rich meal. Do regular walking and exercise. Take salt restricted diet also. As your Hb is in the lower side take iron supplements as advised, You should be in regular antenatal care ,and visit your doctor as and when advised.
