Manufacturer: Zaneka Healthcare Pvt Ltd

Nimesulide is an anti-inflammatory pain killer which is also a non-steroidal tablet. This tablet can be used to treat acute pain, pain related to menstrual cramps, backache, migraine, post-operative pains, rheumatoid arthritis, fever and painful osteoarthritis. Nimesulide functions by blocking the cyclooxygenases which actually produces pain signals in our body. Cyclooxygenases and Prostaglandin are the reasons for the occurrence of inflammation, swelling of joints and other acute pains. This drug works by exerting pain relieving activities. Cyclooxygenase is a type of enzyme which produces compounds known as Prostaglandin. The existence of Prostaglandin in your body creates inflammation in joints, swelling and pain. This medicine targets all the components resulting to development of swelling such as free radicals, proteolytic enzyme, histamine, cyclooxygenases and prostaglandin. This drug belongs to the class of drugs known as Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug. This class of drugs are shortly known as NSAIDs. These drugs help in treating high fever, preventing blood clots, decreasing pain and helps in stopping the development of cancer cells. If given in high dosage, these drugs can also be used in treating inflammation in the body. Your pain will be gone in just 15 minutes after consuming Nimesulide. But it is not good to use the drug for a prolonged period due to its harmful side effects. It is always advisable to finish the passage within 15 days.

I don't feel a single merit in masturbation, here are some demerits of it. The Energy Element This isn't exactly among the harmful effects of masturbation but can be classified as a prominent effect owing to its palpability. If you've realized, masturbation uses up a lot of your energy. Besides, in men, increased weakness is a result of over masturbation. Addiction Addiction to masturbation can result in scores of biological changes in the body. Men who masturbate too much and are addicted to the act of pleasuring themselves are no less than drug addicts- this, according to a recent medical study published by a leading medical journal. Erectile Dysfunction Erectile Dysfunction is among the most prominent side effects of masturbating too much. Men who indulge in over masturbation have an increased risk of suffering from erectile dysfunction. Neurological Concerns Neurological problems are closely related to excessive masturbation in men. Over masturbation is associated with several severe neurological problems in older men. Premature Ejaculation Excessive masturbation is linked with premature ejaculation. Men who masturbate too much find it extremely hard to control the release of sperm. Over stimulation of the penal nerve is largely responsible for premature ejaculation. Affects Sex Life This point is linked to the previously mentioned point that makes reference to premature ejaculation. Too much masturbation can seriously affect your sex life, for it dampens the pleasure substantially. Makes You Feel Drowsy Masturbating too much makes you feel drowsy very frequently. This is because of excess dopamine that is released in the brain. Hair Loss Excessive masturbation causes hair loss in men. So, if you masturbate more than 6-7 times a week and see yourself losing hair, well, you shouldn't be surprised. Memory Loss Because of the release of excessive dopamine in the brain, over masturbation causes memory loss. Over time, the effects on memory will be more pronounced. Loss of Interest In Sex Men who masturbate too much will soon realize a decreased interest in sex. Masturbation affects testosterone levels in the body. Ageing Men who masturbate more than six to seven times a week tend to age faster, a new study says. This is mainly linked to a drop in testosterone levels.

PCOS Can Trigger Infertility - Do You Think It Can Be Treated?

PCOS Can Trigger Infertility - Do You Think It Can Be Treated?

PCOS is a disorder characterized by enlarged ovaries and the formation of tiny cysts on the outer sides of the ovaries. Polycystic Ovary is a hormonal condition that stimulates surplus production of androgen in women. Androgen being a “male hormone,” causes development of muscle mass and hair in men, and it has similar effects on women as well when present in high amount. They trigger acne and excessive growth of body hair in women accompanied by irregular or lack of ovulation in the form of absent or erratic menstrual cycle. Hence, owing to troubles in ovulation (discharge of ovules from the ovaries), one may experience difficulties in getting pregnant.

Many women suffering from PCOS are unaffected by the influence of the hormone ‘insulin’, which indicates, that it requires a larger amount of insulin to sustain a normal blood sugar level. High levels of insulin as a result of insulin resistance, in turn drastically boosts androgen production.

Symptoms of PCOS include:

  1. Irregular Menstrual Cycle. Women with PCOS may miss periods or have fewer periods (fewer than eight in a year). Or, their periods may come every 21 days or more often. Some women with PCOS stop having menstrual periods.

  2. Excessive hair. Excessive hair on the face, chin, or parts of the body where men usually have hair. This is called "hirsutism." Hirsutism affects up to 70% of women with PCOS.3

  3. Acne. Acne on the face, chest, and upper back

  4. Hair Loss. Thinning hair or hair loss on the scalp; male-pattern baldness

  5. Weight Gain. Weight gain or difficulty losing weight

  6. Skin Darkening. Darkening of skin, particularly along neck creases, in the groin, and underneath breasts

  7. Skin tags. Skin tags, which are small excess flaps of skin in the armpits or neck area

Treatment for PCOS:

There is apparently no procedure to cure PCOS and improve fertility; but the treatment is tailored as per the symptoms of the condition:

  1. A lack of ovulation and menstrual cycles hinders the secretion of progesterone (a hormone preparing the uterus for pregnancy), thus hampering conception. In this case, the treatment is directed at maintaining a regular ovulation and menstrual cycle which can be fixed by consuming birth control pills. These pills comprise of both progestin and estrogen which aid to bring down androgen production.

  2. PCOS along with insulin resistance warrants the use of certain medications such as metformin which are prescribed to enhance insulin sensitivity. In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

PCOD - 5 Ways To Treat It!

PCOD - 5 Ways To Treat It!

Are you experiencing problems with your periods because of hormonal imbalance? This condition, known as PCOD and PCOS, or polycystic ovary syndrome, may make it difficult for you to get pregnant, and unwanted changes in your appearance are also indicated. In most cases, women with PCOD develop small cysts in their ovaries. These cysts may not be harmful or cancerous, but they cause hormone imbalance in your body.

Causes

The specific causes of PCOD are yet to be determined. In PCOS patients, the ovaries produce excess androgens or male sex hormones, which result in an imbalance in ovulation, acne breakout and development of excess body hair. Your body faces problems using insulin and develops insulin resistance. Genetics are considered to be a key factor that determines a woman’s chance of getting PCOD.

Symptoms

The symptoms of PCOD are mild in the beginning. The most common symptoms are as follows:

  1. Weight and difficulty in weight loss.

  2. Acne breakout.

  3. Development of excess hair on the face and body, which is not a feminine feature. Thicker and darker facial hair and unusually excessive hair on the belly, chest and back are also indicated in some women.

  4. Thinning of hair on the scalp.

  5. Irregularity with menstrual periods. Commonly, women with PCOD experience less than 9 periods during a year. Some women may have no periods at all, while others experience heavy, abnormal bleeding.

  6. Fertility problems are likely in women with PCOD.

  7. Depression.

Treatment

The treatment of PCOD aims at relieving the symptoms and preventing long-term health problems associated with the condition. PCOD can be treated and managed by using the following measures:

  1. You should keep fit and undertake regular exercise and work out. Walking is an ideal exercise which you can opt for.

  2. You should eat heart healthy food which includes vegetables, nuts, fruits, whole grains and beans. Avoid foods which contain saturated fats and these include fried food, meat and cheese.

  3. Losing weight is beneficial for your health if you have PCOD. Losing even a small amount of weight will help in balancing your hormones and regulating your menstrual cycle.

  4. Quit smoking as smoking increases the levels of androgen in your body.

  5. Birth control pills are also prescribed for reducing your symptoms, and fertility medicines are prescribed in case of infertility issues because of PCOD.

It is recommended for you to consult a gynaecologist on experiencing any symptom of PCOD. This will enable early diagnosis so that you can start with the treatment measures before the condition worsens. In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

How To Prevent Bone Thinning Or Osteoporosis?

Osteoporosis is a disease where decreased bone strength increases the risk of a broken bone. It is the most common reason for a broken bone among people who are old. Bones that commonly break include the back bones, the bones of the forearm, and the hip. Until a broken bone occurs there are typically no symptoms. Three important factors to keep your bones healthy are:

1.Adequate amounts of calcium intake

2.Adequate amounts of Vitamin D

3.Regular Exercise

4. Calcium

Eat low fat dairy products like milk and curd, dark green leafy vegetables, soy products. Consult your doctor if you need calcium supplements.

5. Vitamin D

It improves our body's ability to absorb calcium. We mostly get our Vitamin D from sunlight but check with your doctor if you need any supplements.

6. Regular Exercise

Exercise will benefit your bones no matter when you start, but you'll gain the most benefits if you start exercising regularly when you're young and continue to exercise throughout your life. Combination of strength training exercises and weight-bearing exercises will help improve bone strength. Strength training helps strengthen muscles and bones in your arms and upper spine, and weight-bearing exercises — such as walking, jogging, running, stair climbing, skipping rope etc.— affect mainly the bones in your legs, hips and lower spine.

What is menopause?
Menopause is that phase in the life of a woman when she can no longer reproduce. It involves the loss of fertility and the cessation of the menstrual cycle. The woman will stop bleeding every month and the ovaries stop producing eggs that can be fertilized. Menopause normally sets on after the age of 40 and bleeding may permanently stop by the age of 50.

Even a small amount of spotting should not have taken place. Post-menopausal bleeding is when bleeding occurs after a year of attaining menopause. It can be a serious health disorder and requires medical attention without any further delay.

Reasons behind post menopausal bleeding

  1. Polyps that are mostly non-cancerous, unwanted growths on the cervical canal, uterus or ovaries are known to cause post-menopausal bleeding.
  2. Thinning of the endometrium that lines the uterus can cause unexpected bleeding. It can be due to the rapidly receding levels of estrogen in the blood. It is also known as endometrial atrophy.
  3. Endometrial hyperplasia is a condition that leads to the thickening of the inner lining of uterus (endometrium). It also leads to the growth of abnormal and malignant cells.
  4. Endometrial cancer
  5. Other health conditions such as reaction to hormone therapy, infections of the blood or reproductive organs, certain medications and blood-thinning drugs
  6. Cancer of the ovaries, uterus or cervix

How it can be treated?

  1. For diagnosis, you can undergo blood tests, ultrasounds, sonography and biopsy.
  2. Hysterectomy is done to remove the uterus and cervix can be conducted for a complete cure. It also removes the ovaries, fallopian tubes and other lymph nodes.
  3. Chemotherapy and other radiation therapies may be done for those who are in an advanced stage of endometrial cancer.
  4. Medications such hormone regulators must be taken to prevent complications.
