Hello Doctor, my mother done with thyroid test. She has normal t3 and t4 levels but, she has high TSH level of 24.03 minor iu/ml is it make her any problem. Also, please tell me what kind of food she has to avoid to decrease TSH level.

T4 levels should b kept in the upper half of reference range. High TSH donot warrant change in dosage untill T4 levels are normal. There's no specific diet which can improve thyroid disorders, on a general note, though, physical exercise, balance diet, fruits n salads, with low oil and spice should b adopted.
