Improving digestive function and regulating metabolism to an optimal level is the only remedy for diabetes, rather than controlling sugar level. All fruits are healthier if they are organically grown as it contain most of fructose. Hybrid fruit will only shoot up glucose level. Many people fail to understand the deep concept of diabetes. Siddha medicines will help her a lot to correct the above conditions gradually. Pepper kashyam prepared in home and to be taken 100 ml twice a day will make her better.Â

Her sugar are not under control. You should do a hba1c test (it shows sugar average of last 3 months). Based on hba1c, we may need to increase medications dosage in her. Also pain is due to diabetic neuropathy. It can be managed by controlling sugars and prescribing medications for the same. Feel free to contact me on private consult for detailed assessment and management. Â

The reason for sudden increase in blood sugar should be analysed, to see if it is because of1. Noncompliance of medicine, 2. Noncompliance of diet or 3. Some other reasons like infections. Then accordingly the management is done. Being a diabetic for 7 years other blood investigations to asses diabetic complications help in proper medication. She may need insulin at least for a short duration. Â
