Drink plenty of water. Your kidneys need it to move waste through your system. Get plenty of antioxidants. Fruits and vegetables rich in antioxidants can help protect your cells from the damage heavy metals can cause. Vitamin C and E are especially powerful antioxidants for protecting against the oxidative damage from heavy metals. Get enough fiber. Fiber helps move food through your system, reducing the risk that you’ll absorb the heavy metals. Get enough glutathione. It’s an antioxidant that helps protect against heavy metal toxicity. A 2004 study showed that it glutathione (GSH) protected the liver when exposed to things like mercury and chromium. Good sources of this nutrient include fresh (not cooked) fruits and vegetables, particularly asparagus, broccoli, avocados, squash, and spinach. You can also try supplements of N-Acetyl Cystein (NAC) and alpha lipoic acid.

Key Benefits Of A Homeopathic Approach For Diabetes!

Homeopathy, since its inception, has been termed a pseudoscience, as something that is not backed by proper science. It continues to be a hotly debated topic centuries after its invention but the main aim of homeopathy is to push for the individual to heal themselves. The healing comes from within and the homeopathic treatment induces the body’s natural healing properties so that the body experiences almost no damage from harsh chemicals found in allopathic treatments.

Homeopathic treatment, also known as alternative or complementary medicines, is effective in a lot of cases and not as a placebo effect. Diabetes is a disease that results from imbalances in the blood sugar levels and the fact that the pancreas cannot keep up with the insulin requirement of the body and is overworked, thereby damaging the cells that produce insulin. There are a number of ways in which homeopathy can help keep blood sugar levels normal, some of these are:

  1. Acupuncture: Something that is a lesser known fact about diabetes is that it can cause nerve damage- diabetic neuropathy. Some of the complications this can cause are numbness in different areas of the body, further damage to internal organs like the heart. Acupuncture is a great solution for this as its purpose is to induce the body’s natural pain killers. It can help heal chronic pain that diabetic neuropathy brings along.
  2. Chromium: Diabetes, apart from disrupting insulin flow, also affects blood sugar levels in the body. It further damages the body’s sensitivity to insulin thereby affecting its ability to absorb insulin into the system. Chromium helps in maintaining the normal levels of blood sugar, increases insulin sensitivity and helps improve its function by amplifying glucose tolerance. Chromium-rich food items include seafood, vegetables and fruits and even oatmeal and hazelnuts.
  3. Ginseng: Ginseng has been studied and seen to be effective in bringing down insulin resistance thereby increasing the functionality of insulin in the body, helping in its absorption. Fasting blood sugar levels are what determine whether you suffer from diabetes and studies have shown that ginseng has made beneficial differences to the fasting blood glucose levels.
  4. Biofeedback: This technique is one that increases your awareness about the functions of the body and thus provides you with more control over the functions. These functions may not be ones that you think about but biofeedback can help you gain awareness of them and extend it beyond just awareness to controlling your body’s pain responses. “Guided imagery” falls under this technique, whereby the patient associates curing of their diseases with calming images that they are subjected to.
  5. Fibre-rich foods: Food that is rich in fibre content is great for controlling blood sugar levels for fibre is something that the body is unable to digest so it stalls the rise of blood sugar levels in the body after a meal. Any plant-based food item is rich in fibre content.

Acne Flare Up - What To Eat & What To Avoid?

Intake of foods of high Glycemic Index (GI) worsens acne. GI measures the rate at which blood sugar levels rise because of the intake of foods containing carbohydrates such as soda, white bread, processed breakfast cereals, chips, baked and other junk foods. Diet and acne are directly related.

Therefore, you should adopt a perfect diet plan for your acne.

  1. Omega-3 Fatty Acids: These have anti-inflammatory effects whereas foods with Omega-6 Fatty acids produce substances such as inflammatory prostaglandins. Such foods include walnuts, flaxseed oil, fish oil, fish roe (egg), sea foods, spinach, soybeans and chia seeds.
  2. Low Glycemic Foods: Eat non- starchy foods such as vegetables, legumes and fruits low on the GI count. Avoid carbs, especially simple carbs. Potatoes should be off your platter for quite some time.
  3. Vitamin A and Vitamin E: An ounce of almonds gives about 7.4 milligram of vitamin A. You can also consume almond milk or almond oil. Other foods rich in Vitamin A are sun flower seeds, sesame or pumpkin; Swiss chard, mustard greens, spinach, turnip greens, kale, plant oils such as wheat gram oil, sunflower oil, hazelnuts, pine nuts and avocado. Sources of vitamin A include liver, broccoli, orange, fatty fish.
  4. Avoid dairy products: They aggravate acne flare-ups because of the hormones contained in milk.
  5. Chromium Rich Foods: They stabilize levels of blood sugar. The suggested foods are orange pancakes, Tortellini and broccoli salad, alcohol-free sangria, such as grape juice, open-face ham sandwiches with Rye crisp bread. Other sources of chromium are onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and whole grains. For more effective results, include foods with Vitamin C that add to the absorption of chromium.
  6. Zinc-Rich Foods: Sources of zinc include cereals, wheat grams, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, meats, shell fish, squash seeds, fruits such as pomegranates and avocados, dark chocolates, spinach, mushroom, cashew nuts, almonds, walnuts and hazelnuts.
  7. Avoid intake of excess iodineExcess iodine causes acne flare-ups.

See there are different kinds of permanent teeth available in the market of dentistry Basic is full metal Cobalt Chromium steel material this is basically a full coverage steel crown for the teeth it is very strong and gives a steely look for the wearer particularly I suggest it to heavy non-veg users and old persons only. Secondly there is ceramic which is basically a coating of ceramic over the steel crown ceramic coating will be 1.5 mm thick so it would roughly last you for 10 years in normal wear and tear conditions. Third variant is CAD CAM ceramic which is nothing but ceramic crown prepared by CAD CAM computerised machine so it offers better fit and look for the patient Fourth variant is Zirconia i.e, Bruzir, 3m Lava crowns it is solid zirconia crown which is again prepared by milling solid zirconia block by CAD CAM machine it offers superior esthetics and strength for the crown since it doesnot contain any metal it is esthetically better while you smile and it is the best in terms of biocompatibility with the gingival tissues So I leave it to you to decide which crown you want to go Pricing varies for different crowns in different cities I would like to give you rough rates according to IDA from 1500 for metal crown to 10000 per crown for zirconia.

You may have Thyroid issues, kindly go for a Thyroid Profile (Free T3, Free T4, TSH, TPO Antibody ). And also a 25 (OH) Vit D3 test to check whether you are Vit D3 deficient. Low Vit D level can give body pain and insufficient Insulin control. Go for a good diet under a good Nutritionist. You have to take low carbohydrates and more Protein and fat, a form of Ketogenic diet which will help you immensely in managing your Diabetes and body pain as well. You can take Chromium Picolinate supplementation for three months and check your sugar levels, preferably HbA1C Take Magnesium Glycinate 400 mg twice daily at evening and night after meal for three months. If you are not taking Blood thinner medicine, then Vit K2 100 mcg at afternoon one tab will help immensely for body pain and Diabetes as well. Consult after one month for follow up. Good luck! Thanks.

Hi, it seems to be dyshidrotic eczema. Dyshidrotic eczema is a condition in which small blisters develop on the hands and feet. The blisters are often itchy. The cause is unknown. The condition seems to appear during certain times of the year. You are more likely to develop dyshidrotic eczema when: you are under stress you have allergies, such as hay fever your hands are often in water or moist you work with cement or do other work that exposes your hands to chromium, cobalt, or nickel. Skin care at home keep the skin moist by lubricating or moisturizing the skin. Use ointments (such as petroleum jelly), creams, or lotions. Moisturizers: should be free of alcohol, scents, dyes, fragrances, or other chemicals. Work best when they're applied to skin that is wet or damp. After washing or bathing, pat the skin dry and then apply the moisturizer right away. May be used at different times of the day. For the most part, you can apply these substances as often as you need to keep your skin soft. Dyshidrotic eczema usually goes away without problems, but symptoms may come back. Excess scratching may lead to thick, irritated skin. This makes the problem harder to treat. Medicine: take homoeopathic medicine - petroleum 30/ 3 times a day daily for a month initially. Revert.
