My ldl was 175. After use atormac 10 mg for six month it was 107. Doctor stop medication for 3 months. After 4 months from the date of stop medication my ldl is 137 and trig is 135 .my age is 34. I am not take meat fish egg milk oil etc since 9 month. Also walking 30 mnt per day. My weight is 53 kg. Then why the cholesterol level is high. And after stop the atormac 10 mg tab why cholesterol level is increase to speedily. Can I take this tab for life time. Is it cure permanently. What can I do sir .please advice me briefly. And also I am a gastric patient. Can I take pantoprazole or liver tonic or any enzyme syrup etc with this cholesterol medication. If yes then which medicines are best for the above.

You can do the following-- stop smoking (if you smoke). Smoking lowers your hdl, cholesterol level. Change the way you eat. Low-fat, low-cholesterol eating benefits all your lipid levels. Lose weight if necessary. Maintain healthy lifestyle start exercising. Nuts, such as almonds, pistachios, and walnuts, contain high amounts of unsaturated fat or fats, which increase high-density lipoprotein (hdl) and lower low-density lipoprotein (ldl). Also follow this 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't overeat 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U can eat whatever your mother or grandparent eat in bfast.
