Hi, oats can not help you tremendously in weight gain as it is full of fibre. But taking oats everyday boosts your digestion and helps in better absorption of nutrients that leads to weight gain. You can eat soya bean daily. Half a cup of soya daily is good.
Soya beans are good source of proteins but they should be cooked well. It is advisable to have a good protein meal within an hour of our workout. So if you work out in morning you can include soybeans in your breakfast.
For using soybean, you can grind soy nuggets (Nutrella) in a grinder and mix it with normal wheat flour and have chapatis made out of it. You can also have sometimes nutri-nugget vegetable and whole wheat roti combination. Other sources of protein are milk,paneer, pulses , sprouts, nuts, eggs, chicken, fish.
