Hello, Thanks for the query. With TSH at 0.56 mU/L, there is a need to reduce the dose by 12.5 mcg and take 87.5 mcg (or 88 mcg) per day. Then check TSH after 6 weeks. Ideally it should be maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L, at that level most of the symptoms are in check. Another aspect is your weight, with a BMI of 29.kgs/Sq meter, (Normal < 23 kgs/Sq meter)you are very close grade 1 obesity. There is an excess of over 14 kgs. This needs to be reduced. With good control of hypothyroidism you should try and reduce the weight. Thanks.
