My father is diagnosed with typhoid in widal test with o type titre = 1: 380.his wbc count is 11,500 and platelets 2,05,000. He has gone under treatment with monocef 1 mg and neurobion gold through iv. Also orally he has taken calpol & ciprox 250. Now he is feeling heavy head, weakness but no fever. Main concern is he is sweating a lot in night only since diagnosed with typhoid. Do we need to worry about it? What line of treatment is advice further? What diet should be followed? What precautions need to be taken? How long it takes to recover from typhoid?
