I am type 1 diabetics on novomix 30-10 units, lantus 10 units at night. Prominad 100 (after breakfast). Blood sugar varying from 86to 258. Mostly sugar increases post lunch. Hba1c 6.6 urea 38, creatinine 0.76,urine routine sugar 4++. bilirubin total, direct and indirect marginally raised. Also taking uda300, enzygut forte at night for raised bilirubin. Since last one month. Pl suggest diet plan, insulin dose and medication required if any.

Breakfat: 1.sprouted chana (bengal gram) & sprouted moong dal or oats salty with vegetables cooked or chana flour chilla water with onion, tomatoes and green mirch (mixed and made into thick liquid paste and put on pan and put 1 tsf deshi ghee) two fruits one apple and one small banana. Lunch: 2 chappatis of chana 80%(bengal gram)++barley 20% or bazra. Pulses changed two small katori. .curd 150 ml, salad. -chana dal or lentils or any legumes changed. -vegetables any one or two (brocoli+seeds vegetable+pumpkin+spinach+gourd-chana -dal+lady finger)+leafy vegetables) -salad at least 200 gm (onion+ cucumber+tamatoes+radish +patta gobi+radish+green pepper+red shimla mirch)+lemon1. 2 chappatis+ two types of vegetables+ green salad. One more serving of fruit not to be taken at all: wheat & all its productsnot to be taken: rice & all its productsnot to be taken suagrs in all forms evening snacks: almonds 6-8 + 1 walnutevening: 2 fruits may be taken10 pm: night 2 walnut+4 almonds dinner: 2 chappatis chana based with two type of vegetable, salad. Fermented products containing can be taken any time such as yogurt, process cheese, brandy in cold-all refined oil should be stopped -only olive oil virgin, mustard oil and filtered sunflower oil -for deep fry coconut oil or desi gheecow milk at night one glass. With half tsf haldi (turmeric) main staple diet chana is chapattis and dalfruits all type can be taken except banana not more than 1 and too much sweet fruits but in small amount taken. Walking 200 minutes in a week 7 km in a hour high glycemic index products like wheat, rice ,corn & sugar absolute abolished from diet.Green tea may be takenchanna (bengal gram) is staple diet with its various combinations. Exercise plan: 150--200 minutes in a weekmoderate exercise like 7-8 km in 1 hour brisk walkheavy exercise not allowed in this month conclusion on diet: please start channa based diet as suggested above and then I will be more specific later on. Pl increase lantus by 4 units and decrease novomix by 4 units total. With channa based diet blood sugar excursion will disappear. Report me after 2 weeks. Best wishes.
