I am 43 years old diabetic woman. I have high cholesterol (229 mg/dl, high HDL cholesterol (63 mg/dl, high LDL cholesterol (136) and high non HDL cholesterol. What does this indicate.

Nothing much, cholesterol up to 300 are good, and LDL up to 220. The current trend to keep lowering cholesterol is bad biology. Don't go with the crowd about cholesterol, it is unhelpful. Most of your 'abnormalities' are just calculations, not measurements. HDL should be above 50, cholesterol below 300, triglycerides below 150. All the other calculated values are quite unhelpful.

Reduce saturated fats. Saturated fats, found primarily in red meat and full-fat dairy products, raise your total cholesterol. Eliminate trans fats. Eat foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Increase soluble fiber. Add whey protein.
