Dear lybrate user, rinse your mouth with warm salt water 3-4 times daily to reduce the swelling. Take a pain killer if required. Avoid brushing hard in that area. Buy a soft toothbrush and save your teeth and gums by brushing gently using proper technique.

Extraction Is It the End or Beginning of a Dental Problems?

BDS, Masters in Immediate Loading Implants, Digital Smile Degin , Fellowship in Implantology
Dentist, Gurgaon
Extraction Is It the End or Beginning of a Dental Problems?

Removal of teeth is gradually not the first option for a lot of dental issues. However, a large number of dental infections and other causes end in extraction. The front teeth, because of their visibility, are more likely to be replaced. The back teeth often go un-replaced, though they play a higher role in terms of food digestion and function. In many patients, reasons for impaired bite and crooked tooth are traced back to failure to replace a removed tooth. (Learn more to maintain healthy teeth)

Let us look at the some of the issues as a result of not replacing a missing tooth:

  1. Reduced chewing/digestive efficiency: The back teeth play a significant role in chewing the food and contributing to the initial stage of digestion. The salivary enzymes play a significant role in digestion when the food is chewed and removal of back teeth tends to make people swallow food faster than if good amount of chewing were to happen. Studies show that loss of each posterior tooth (molars especially) reduces tooth efficiency by 10%.
  2. Malocclusion: A malocclusion happens due to the empty space created, into which 3 teeth are trying to move. The tooth before and after the empty space tend to slowly tilt towards the empty space in between. Also, the opposing upper or lower tooth supra erupts into this space.  Each tooth plays a critical role in maintaining the adjacent and opposing tooth in place, which is lost when a tooth is not replaced after removal.
  3. Bone loss: The tooth also is essential for maintaining healthy bone, and if not replaced, it can lead to accelerated loss of alveolar bone.  Good bone support is very essential for construction of dentures, especially in old age, when complete dentures which are almost always removable need to be done. This is true especially in the lower teeth, where denture retention is a big challenge.
  4. Extra pressure on other teeth: Not replacing a tooth puts additional pressure on the remaining teeth, leading to accelerated bone loss and wearing off of the enamel.
  5. Esthetics: There will be a sinking in of the face when back teeth are not replaced, leading to a puckering.

So, the next time, tooth loss is inevitable, ensure you plan how to replace it in the earliest possible time period. The more it is delayed, the more difficult it is to replace it and the more expensive it will turn out for the patient. Fixed dentures or removable dentures can be the options, depending on age, food habits, finances, etc. Implants also could be another option, which is the new-age solution for replacing teeth.  A detailed discussion with your dentist, ahead of removal will help you plan better. White Potato Vs. Sweet Potato - What Nourishes the Body More?

White Potato Vs. Sweet Potato - What Nourishes the Body More?
White Potato Vs. Sweet Potato - What Nourishes the Body More?

The debate whether white potatoes are healthier or their sweeter counterparts can be put to rest if you consider the nutrient content of both.

It will be favourable to begin with the fact that each type of potato, whether white or sweet, has its own health benefits, though they differ in nutritional content. So, let’s take a look at what both have to offer when it comes to nutrition.

1. Starch and fibre content
Starch and dietary fibre are present in high amounts in both white and sweet potatoes. Starch provides your body with immense energy, enabling you to perform your daily tasks. As for fibre, it keeps your stomach full for a long time.
1 cup of white potato contains 10 grams of starch and 1.8 grams of fibre, while a similarly sized serving of sweet potato comes with 16.80 grams starch and 4 grams fibre. So when it comes to starch and fibre content, sweet potato is the clear winner.

2. Potassium content
Potassium is required by your body to aid the process of metabolism and to support the proper functioning of your nervous and muscular systems. When it comes to potassium, yet again sweet potatoes record a higher content. A regular cup of sweet potatoes contains 448 milligrams of potassium, while a cup of white potatoes contains 305 milligrams of the nutrient.

3. Vitamin content
Vitamin A plays a vital role in enhancing your vision and improving your immunity. Sweet potatoes are enriched with considerably larger amounts of vitamin A in comparison to white ones. Consumption of a cup of this spud in chopped form gives your body 18,869 IU or international units of vitamin A in comparison to the mere 6 IU contained in the same amount of white potatoes. Additionally, sweet potatoes prove to be superior in terms of vitamin C and B6 content as well, which provide for better metabolism and an enhanced nervous system.

So sweet potatoes are clearly better for your health than white ones. Moreover, their calorie content is also lower than that of white potatoes despite being sweet to taste.

Dear , I think you are exaggerating and worrying. You don' t have to worry about memory at your age. People do forget because they are busy or are anxious. Your forgetfulness also could be linked to those. Don' t worry and take care.

Tips to lose weight
Weight loss
Successful weight loss involves making small changes that you can stick to for a long time. That means building regular physical activity into your daily routine. Adults between 19 and 64 should get at least 150 minutes of physical activity every week and those who are overweight are likely to need more than this to lose weight
To lose weight you need to burn more calories than you consume

How to make my girlfriend to taste my pennis, she always not like that, what can I do?

How to make my girlfriend to taste my pennis, she always not like that, what can I do?
I can understand how oral sexual contact is very alluring. Although in most cultures and by most people it is considered unnatural and is not openly accepted, it takes time and a certain psychological approach to accept it. I would recommend you to start pleasuring your girlfriend with oral sexual contact first. Do not ask her to return the favor at all initially. Just tell her that you want to provide her with oral sex. Reach for her sensitive areas by asking her where she likes it best. Use your tongue and reach for the region around her clitoris and make sure she is comfortable and enjoying it. Once she does, she will stop resisting and will openly welcome the same as climax through oral sexual contact is quite fulfilling. Only once she is used to the fact that you have been providing her with oral sexual contact for quite some time (weeks would be good), then only ask her to return the favor. She will then understand how she would also like to make you feel the same pleasure you have been providing her with. Remember to be patient, and not seem selfish at all. Only understanding, and a give and take policy in a relationship helps yield good results. Keep in touch sir, and we shall slowly help both of you to enjoy a happy sex life.
