I have thyroid problem, if i am having thyroid, will there be any problems in pregnancy?

lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query. Please clarify what do you mean by "I have thyroid problem" Because there can either Hypothyroidism which is less or nil production of thyroxine. Secondly there is hyperthyroidism where there is excess thyroxine production by the thyroid gland. So it is necessary to know what is the situation. Thyroid is present in all of us. Hypothyroidism with high TSH can lead to infertility and if pregnancy develops may affect fetal growth and outcome of pregnancy. So it is better if you come back with details like T3, T4 & TSH levels and treatment being taken. Thanks.
