You have to go for regular health check up with your doctor and talk freely about your problems and concerns. Do discuss about the treatment plan so that there is no confusion. Kindly read about Daibetes and it's management (and how to avoid complications by adapting a healthy lifestyle ). You should avoid Junk food/ processed/ packaged food and beverages as they may contain excess salt and sugar and other preservatives. Stick to freshly prepared homemade food. Do continue taking the medicines as given by the doctor and let the doctor review your case on a regular basis so that it becomes easy to monitor the improvement. Do not worry unnecessarily but keep doing the right things. You can continue the walking and yoga as usual without skipping your regular meals. You can also use a glucometer at home to chart the blood sugar trend and show it to your doctor. You can also add Homeopathy if needed which is safe and gentle and can be taken with other medicines.
