I am a 22 year old female currently taking doses for thyroid (62. 5 mg) and cabgolin 0.5 for high prolactin. I am actually facing a lot of hair fall issues and a bit of breast pain. Is it because of cabgolin or should I get my thyroid tested? I also have pcod but I am not taking any pills for it. I was actually facing hair fall issue before a few months when my gynecologist advised me to get a hormonal test. My tsh was normal, just haemoglobin was below 12 and prolactin was 60. Then I went to a endocrinologist who told me to get a prolactin peg precipitation in which my result was 110. So then I started taking cabgolin 0.5 twice a week for 8 weeks. I am still taking it. My testosterone level was normal. What can be the reason behind the major hair fall and the breast pain? Please help me out.

thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. However, there is no mention of either tsh or t4 levels. Also please let me know if if have done anti tpo antibodies test also. If your tsh is normal then why are you on 62.5 mcg of levothyroxine? Please get the thyroid function test and also anti tpo antibodies tets done. High prolactin can also lead to hair fall. Please come back with above test results. Thanks.
