Hello, thanks for the query. Madam, hypothyroidism is a hormone (thyroxine) deficiency disorder. It means your thyroid gland is either not producing enough or nil of thyroxine (t4). This is an essential hormone for multiple metabolic functions in the body including proper functioning of brain. Hence it has to be supplemented every day in specific quantity depending upon the need of each patient. Therefore, only remedy is to take adequate quantity of levothyroxine every day for lifetime. Plus tsh needs to be maintained around 3 to 4 mu/l. Amla powder has absolutely nothing do with synthesis of thyroxine by thyroid gland. Thyroid gland takes up iodine from food (salt or water) and combines it with tyrosine an amino acid and synthesizes t4. I hope you understand.
