I am suffering from thyroid my tsh is 8.93 and I take thyronorm 50 tablet is this dose of medicine appropriate?

Hello, Thanks for the query. TSH 8.93 mU/L even with treatment means current dosage is not adequate, It needs to be increased by 12.5 to 25 mcg. After taking the increased dosage, TSH needs to be checked after 6 weeks. Ideally TSH should be maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L, at that level most of the symptoms are in check.
