Dear Lybrateuser, - To build muscles you have to consume a well balanced diet with more of protein rich foods & do regular exercise - have more of fruits, vegetables including green leafy ones, protein rich foods such as eggs, milk & milk products, non veg, tofu, soya products, legumes, sprouts, peas, nuts such as almonds, walnuts, pista, cashews, peanuts - include a protein rich food in each of your meals & as a snack in-between meals to boost your protein content in diet - can consult a dietitian for your exact requirement of calories & proteins as per your activity level, dietary habits & constitution - do regular exercises such as jogging, swimming, cycling, crunches, squats, pushups, pull-ups, moderate weight lifting for 10-15 min 2-3 times a week.
