No you should not take this. There are other ways to reduce weight. Follow this 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't overeat 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U should eat whatever your mother or grandparent eat in bfast. I mean to say whatever is your traditional food. If punjabi eat paratha, if belongs to south then take idli/ dosa etc. 4. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits, a handful of peanuts, any fresh n seasonal fruit, a cup of curd/milk etc 5. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep. 6. Maintain active life style7. Avoid fast foods, spicy n fried foods, carbonated beverages 8. Take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. 9. Hello, my current hba1c stands at 5.9. Average blood sugar at fasting is 95-105 and after dinner is 135-150. I'm currently on the dose of metformin hydrochloride sr of 500 mg and wants to reduce it. I'm following all the precautions with brisk walks. Whether metformin hydrochloride sr 250 mg should be taken after breakfast once in a day or it should be taken twice a day i.e.one in morning after breakfast and one in evening after dinner or it is sufficient to take only one in a day after breakfast in the morning as asked above. This question regarding the dose arises as hba1c is under control and I want to reduce the dose of metformin hydrochloride sr 500 mg tablet to 250 mg tablet.

Sir, since from last 17 years I am suffering from sugar disease. Now my sugar level is 144 and 254. I am taking daily glimp m1 where written as metformin hydrochloride & glimepiride tablets. Composition is glimepiride ip 1 mg, metformin hydrochloride ip 500 mg, excipient q.s. Is written. I am taking three tables daily. One after break fast, 2nd after lunch and third after supper. Hello sir, thanks for the query. Your medication needs to be changed. Start zoryl mv1 one tablet before lunch and 1 before dinner. Also start tab ziten m 20/500 one tablet in morning before breakfast. Keep your routine regular. Eat food at regular intervals (every 4 hourly. Eat a balanced diet. Exercise for atleast 1 hr daily. Check your sugars after 1 month fbs, pmbs, hba1c.

I am 30 years old I was diagnosed with diabetes taking glycomet 500 sr tablet once in the morning and olmin 10 mg once. Fasting is 91 and ppbs 153 but I go for poop after that I feel very tired and weakness why it happens.

Can hba1c level of 7.9 cause nausea in diabetic person. My mom 67 years of age says she do not feel like eating. She eats very less. Her fasting sugar today was 134. She also complaints about pain in toes.

1.no alcohol 3. No smoking/ tobacco/drugs/ avoid pollution 4. Diet - no ghee/ butter, have mix of vegetable oils - mustard, til, ground nut, olive oil, have more green vegetables and fruits, have whole grain atta, no fried. Fast. Spicy / processed/ junk food. Less sugar, potato, rice 5. 30 mts brisk walk daily 6. Deep breathing exercise for 10 mts daily 7. Meditation daily for 10 mts. 6-8 hrs of sleep at night 8. Expose your body to sun for 15-20 mts daily after some oil massage to get vit d. 9. I am taking sugar medicine glycomet trio 2 & sgltr morning and evening but in night after dinner 2 hrs y sugar comes 190-200 if I take one more chapati or etc and urine create problem so today my doctor advise to take jalra 50/850 mg also, sir it will helpful for my urine problem. Hello, thanks for the query. From the details given you are on tablet glycomet trio 2 and tablet remogliflozin 100 mg. Post dinner glucose goes up 190 - 200 mg is fine. That can be effectively controlled by reducing the intake of carbohydrates like chapati or rice and other crbs in the diet. There is no reason to add any further drugs. Invariably we tend to eat more than what we need. So slight reduction in carbs, substituted by green leafy vegetables and items like curds or fruits will help. What is your hba1c%? If that is well controlled (< 6.5%, considering your age, then the control is good. Even increasing the daily physical activity will help in reducing blood glucose.
