Its good to take soy as a protein option, its contain good quality protein that is similar to protein found in non veg sources , milk Products and eggs,but it also contains trypsin inhibitors that inhibits that absorption of protein, make sure to soak it in water atleast half an hour prior before consuming

How is your digestive system? If its not good, then I suggest you don't take whey protein. Because it can irritate intestines.
To gain musclemass, following will help: get minimum 8 hours of sleep get proper sunlight exposure daily
chew your food properly
avoid packed food such as noodles, rusk etc.
Exercise core muscles such as back, glutes and chest.
Practice celibacy. Avoid masturbation until you regain strength.
Increase dairy products intake.
