I sometimes get pain in left knee and difficulty in movement. Some swelling in knee also comes. After applying cream or taking flexion tablet I get relief. I am regularly taking medicines for diabetes and high blood pressure. Amryl 1 mg and Amlip 5 mg. My diabetes is under control though BP remains high at 160/90. Please guide me.

Hi lybrate-user, You need to be physically examined by a physician/cardiologist. While Amlip can cause leg swelling, it mostly involves both legs and shouldn't hurt. There are other possibilities for one sided swelling and pain, many of which can be treated successfully if identified early. I would advise you to see a general physician or a cardiologist at your convenience. Take care.

It seems that you are suffering from Knee arthritis. As age advances, joints gets weaker. Fluid amount in joint which lubricates it reduces. Don't give excess stress on that leg. Do regular walking according to your capacity though it is painful. For exact diagnosis and treatment meet your nearest Homoeopathic physician. Homoeopathy has really good role in treating joint and muscular problems. Flexon and ointment will give temporary relief, it won't cure.
