Hi, I am amit. My age is 30. 2 years before I have been diagnosed with ultrasound on neck and found my right lobe of thyroid is bigger, left lobe is normal. My t3, t4, ths is normal and on fnac report it found right gland is non cancerous. Then I did 4 or 5 month ayurvedic treatment, I found it it is useful. But again I went to out of india and I leave all medicine. Again I came back india and went to doctor, doctor again asked me to do ct scan of thyroid along with fnac and t3, t4 and ths. My question is is ct scan is safe for thyroid? As last time other doctor did ultrasound of neck. And again doing fnac is not harmful? Please help me, I am scared as I read ct scan produce radiation and may harm thyroid gland.
