Hi , not all chest pain are due to heart problems, but excluding any heart illness is recommended if you have risk factors like high Bp, diabetes, cholesterol issues, stressful life, smoking, alcohol consumption. Kindly consult a cardiologist who will do ecg, tread mill test, and 2d echo which will completely rule out any cardiac issues.

Hello, Thanks for your query on Lybrate "As" per your clinical history is concerned you need a detailed clinical evaluation by your Doctor because your chest pain is associated with your neck so to rule out any heart origin you need investigation first .so do an [ECG] and Coronary angiogram test to confirm if you have any blockage present or not and follow lifestyle modifications like this - 1) If you smoke, stop smoking. Avoid exposure to secondhand smoke. 2) If you're overweight, talk to your doctor about weight-loss options. If you have diabetes, make sure that it is well-controlled and that you're following an optimal diet and exercise plan. 3) Because chest pain is often brought on by exertion, it's helpful to pace yourself and take rest breaks. 4) Avoid large meals. 5) Avoiding stress is easier said than done, but try to find ways to relax. Talk with your doctor about stress-reduction techniques. 6) Eat a healthy diet with lots of whole grains, many fruits and vegetables, and limited amounts of saturated fat. Hope that helps.
