Hi, sometimes not having enough sleep when actually need to, stress, depression, some kind of medication, no physical activity, your weight like if you r obese, are some common cause of excessive sleep. Some medication are there but for that your history and physical conditions need to verify by a doctor. Apart from this protein rich food which contains tryptophan amino acid by which serotonin produce in the body is the cause for drowsiness also. U should first have a proper timetable to keep yourself active. Join yoga, gym or any outdoor sports. Don't be dehydrated, drink enough amount of fluid, coffee, green tea, detox water like apple cider vinegar 1 tablespoon have it. Whole grains, fruits, vegetables in the form of salad eat in plenty. No sugar, junks food. Do not skip food at any time, have 4 times in a day like large and small meals. For poor eyesight vit a is important. Eat beta carotene rich foods like carrot, sweet potatoes, kale, spinach etc, as beta carotene only converts to vit a in the body as per requirements. And ofcourse you need to check with eye doctor.
