Hi, I'm taking potassium iodine tablets by IOSAT for over a week 130 mg per day dose as I have too much whiteheads and underweight. I wanted to know how long should I take because I know these tablets block iodine to enter in thyroid and stops the thyroid function. I do not want to go in that condition where problem-too little thyroid hormone and then I have to take thyroid pills fr rest of my life. I can not give any pictures or any other information just let me know the duration of taking those medicines normally.
