Lesuride 25 MG Injection falls under a class of medication known as antipsychotic (also familiar as neuroleptics or tranquilizers) medicines. It is mainly used for mental disorders such as hallucinations, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorder, vertigo and irritable bowel syndrome. Recently it has also come to be used in the treatment of premature ejaculation as it is believed to be a cause of both psychological as well as organic shortcomings.

On using Lesuride 25 MG Injection the associated side effects that you may suffer from are lightheadedness, insomnia, irregular menstrual periods, fatigue, abdominal pain, drowsiness, lowered sexual desire, rapid or irregular heartbeat. In certain severe cases you may experience fever, uncontrollable sweating, gynecomastia (a disorder of the endocrine system where there is an enlargement of the male breast size). In the latter case it will be necessary for you to seek medical attention. Before using this medication it is advised that you consult your doctor and tell him/her if you:

  • Are pregnant, or are planning to become pregnant.
  • Are nursing a baby. In case of absolute necessity of using Lesuride 25 MG Injection, it is advised that breastfeeding be stopped.
  • Are taking any prescriptive or over the counter drugs, herbals medications or dietary supplements.
  • Had a recent surgery or are scheduled for one in the near future.
  • Have pheochromocytoma or gastrointestinal perforation.
  • Have a history of cancer-related disease.
  • Have a history of epilepsy or any other kind of seizures.
  • Are allergic to any medicine, food or substance.

The dosage of Lesuride 25 MG Injection will be as prescribed by your doctor as per the severity of your condition, your age, gender and overall medical history. But commonly a dose of 25 mg of Lesuride 25 MG Injection is prescribed which needs to be taken three times in a day. Results may start to show within an hour or two of using. In case of drug overdose notify your physician right away.

Gastroesophagal Reflux Disease
This medicine is used for the treatment of gastroesophagal reflux disease marked by increased irritation of the stomach caused by bile and acid.
This medicine is used for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome marked by persistent stomach pain, flatulence, diarrhea, or constipation.
This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a known history of allergy to Lesuride 25 MG Injection or any other component present with it.
This medicine is not recommended for use if you suffer from epilepsy or have a history of convulsions.
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from bipolar disorder marked by frequent episodes of anxiety, agitation, depression, hallucinations etc.
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients having a tumor of the adrenal glands that causes a life threatening rise in blood pressure.
Gastrointestinal perforation
This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a condition where the food pipe and the gut is bleeding, obstructed, and perforated.
This medicine is not recommended for use if you have been diagnosed with breast cancer (malignant mastopathy).

This medicine should be used with caution in patients suffering from a disease of the heart and blood vessels. You may require an adjusted dose and safety monitoring to safely use this medicine.
Gastro-intestinal bleeding Major
This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients suffering from perforation and bleeding of the stomach and the intestine. Report any instance of fever with chills, nausea, vomiting, presence of blood in stool to the doctor.
Prolactin imbalance Major
This medicine should not be used in patients having an abnormal level of the hormone prolactin. Breast cancer due to a high level of prolactin should be ruled out before treatment with this medicine is initiated.
Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome (NMS) Major
Use of this medicine is not recommended if the patient suffers from Neuroleptic malignant syndrome. Introduction or reintroduction of this medicine should be done with caution in patients having a known history of this syndrome.
Asthma Moderate
This medicine should be used with caution if you have asthma. Report any instances of difficulty in breathing, wheezing, chest pain etc to the doctor immediately.

U have to improve your food habits do 1. Take 2/ 3 glass of warm water in the morning before brush 2. Take more water in day 3. Take meals at fixed hrs, chew food properly/ completely, no eating quickly 4. Take small amount of food at a time, take more frequent meals - may be five times a day. 5. No spicy/ fried/ fast/ junk/processed food. Caffeine, mints or mint-flavoured foods, pungent, sour things, tomato-based foods. 6. No smoking, chewing gum, and carbonated beverages. 6. I am having burping, nausea,acid formation, gas bloat syndrome, not able to eat properly because of full stomach, sometimes I get heartburn also, and every time I eat or drink anything it just comes out and sometimes I feel like I will fall but it is not because of weakness then I have to lie down burping problem always occurs while eating or drinking. So I have bought Lesuride OD 75 mg so should I take it and how long? Or there is any other medications available for this kind of symptoms?

Buddy, this is the most common problem in clinical practice, 20 out of every 100 people have these kind of symptoms. Dont worry about all this, change your lifestyle. Dont take tea, spicy food. do regular exercise, don't drink water after having meal, take it after 1 hour. use high pillow. Take medication as and when required, not regularly.

I will suggest him to Get his blood checked for CBC sgot sgpt and follow up with reports and also get a CTSCAN brain done to rule out any pathology.

Give him Ignatia 6C one dose now, 2nd dose at night and 3rd dose tomorrow morning. It should start getting decreased by today evening. But please continue this 3 doses for avoiding further recurrence. Take care. :)
