4 months back I have tsh 7 I am using thyronorm 100 mg now I tested again got tsh is 0.2 now what dosage I have to use.

Hello,Thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. Your TSH is low, mainly because of higher dosage of Levothyroxine. SO now you will have to reduce that by 12.5 to 25 mcg (87.5 to 75 mcg) per day. Then check TSH again after 6 weeks, to see if desired level ( 3 to 4 mU/L) is reached or not. Thanks.

Dear lybrate-user, your initial tsh before any treatment is only borderline high and if your t4 and free t4 were normal, the condition is called subclinical hypothyroidism. This may not progress to overt hypothyroidism for a long period of time. Therefore you may not need the tablet I suggest that you check tpo antibodies. If the antibody levels are high then there is a higher r chance of progresing to overt hypothyroidism if antibodies are negative you can stop thyroxine and recheck free t4 and tsh after 6 months and inform the results
