My tsh level is 14.3 as against reference range of 0.30--5.5. I have been suggested ft3 and ft4 estimation if not on drugs. Kindly advise me the consequences of this increased level .i am worried.

You have hypothyroidism which means the reduced thyroid hormone thyroxine is produced by the thyroid gland and this thyroxine is needed for almost all metabolic functions of the body and absence of it can cause many diseases. You have to thyroxine supplement eltroxin 100 mcg to start with and check again after a month.
