I am thyroid patient but how can I know what kind of thyroid I have? Sometimes my TSH level goes normal and sometimes below normal. Both these occur under medication and if I stop taking medicine for someday it goes above normal. Presently I am taking thyrox 100. I am 30 years old lady with a 2 year old baby.

lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query. Since you are taking Levothyroxine supplement, means you have hypothyroidism. The variation in TSh may be occurring due to improper dosage adjustment of thyroxine. If dosage properly adjusted, then one can maintain TSH around 3 to 4 mU/L and be free from all the symptoms. Thanks.
