Continue ur thyroid medication.keep tsh in control.check it 3 months apart for atleast twice. Irregular periods may get corrected when tsh gets corrected. For irregular periods consult a gynaec for low dose oc pills for 3 months. For 5 feet 1 inch the normal range of weight is btw 43.1kgs to 53kgs. It bmi is to be calculated rather than just gaining wt. Hypothyroidism causes weight gain even otherwise. Moreover with age metabolism slows down and at gain may happen. Inspire of all this u may eat dairy products, dry fruits like cashewnuts, healthy meals for 3 times a day.
