My mother's thyroid test reports T3 and T4 measures as 0.3 and 3.2 respectively, whereas TSH counts to 23.1 ulU/ml. Is this possible in contrast to normal TSH level or there may be some error in the diagnostic. What diet should be taken to control hypothyroidism.

Mr. lybrate-user, According to me there is no mistake. It is possible that she may be having hypothyroidism. If you have doubt, may repeat the test. If report shows high TSH then hypothyroidism is confirmed and it needs to be treated. Thanks.
