I take 125 mg thyroxine, in my latest report the TOTAL TRIIODOTHYRONINE (T3) C.L.I.A 81 ng/dl TOTAL THYROXINE (T4) C.L.I.A 8.5 �g/dl THYROID STIMULATING HORMONE (TSH) C.L.I.A 0.3 �IU/ml Should I increase or decrease my thyroxine Mgs?

Dear lybrate-user, It is always better to do Free T3 and Free T4 rather than Total. The decision to increase or decrease Thyroid dosage depends not just on the lab report but on the status of symptoms. Other factors relate to status of other metabolic imbalances and the presence or absence of comorbidities. Management of Hypothyroodism should be comprehensive through an elaborate protocol. Prima facie I would say, if your energy leves are good, weight under control and moods quite positive, there is no need to change your present dose of Thyroxine.
