Hi, Good Morning Doctor I am suffering from a thyroid disorder My tsh level is 128.6 & t4 is 3 What medicine I should take to control my disorder and body weight. please suggest me medicine and how much mg is required for a daily dose. I was careless as I was diagnosed with tsh level 6.1 last year and I stop taking medicine. please help me.

Mr. Lybrate-user, such a high level of tsh signifies you have uncontrolled hypothyroidism. This needs immediate treatment with thyroxine hormone, dose will depend on your weight and tsh level as well as t4 level. So please mention your current body weight, then only dose can be advised. Treatment has to be continued for life time. I can not be stopped as one wants to do.
