Inability to interact with people the way it is expected is a sign of social anxiety and phobia. Also it tends to make you more reluctant every time to interact with people due to loss of confidence and self esteem. Social anxiety or phobia can be completely treated with use of counselling, behaviour therapies and medications if required.
