Health query I have been getting bois since 6-7 months. It gets dry and then reoccur. My hbal1c was 7 almost 15 days ago. During last one year my hbal1c was fluctuating between 7.5 - 8.2. I have taken antibiotics like cefixime tab 500, cloxride 500, cephalexin 500 but nothing worked. Please advise some good medicine. Please note it's boils instead of bois (i am unable to edit) I am diabetic and have thyroid also. I do take metformin 850 & gb2 - bd and thyroxine 100. Please advise me any good homeopathy medicine to cure this problem. Thanks & regards.

lybrate-user ji, thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. Some times regular skin infections like boils do occur in diabetic patients, more so if the control is not very good. It is difficult give any specific advise as you have not given all the necessary information like actual fasting, pp glucose, dietary details & extent of daily exercise as well as weight & height. At your age ideally fasting glucose should be < 100 mg or closer to it. Pp 150 to 160 mg & hba1c% < 6.5%. Another aspect it appears you have not taken appropriate antibiotics hence the infections are recurring. So I suggest please come back with all the necessary details as mentioned above (plus tsh & t4 levels & lipids. On going through those I will be able to give specific advise and even prescribe specific antibiotics.
