I have been having elevated high blood sugar since last 5 years. Jan 2020 hba1c6. 6 abg143. Jan 21: hba1c6. 3 abg131. I also measure blood sugar at home on an alternate day basis. Here the avg for jan 21 is ff108 & pp141, avg for feb 21 ff115 & pp 154, avg for march 21 ff111 & pp138. Medicines I am having for blood sugar: glimisave 2 mg 1 daily, janumet 50/500 1 daily. Thyroid, blood pressure, cholesterol in control, having thyronorm 50, stamlo5 mg, rozavelf5 alternate days for that. I want your advise on how to keep my sugar levels more in control? Any need to change medicines or frequency?

Hello, Thanks for the query. It is nice to see that your blood glucose is by and large quite well controlled. Maintaining HbA1c% < 6.5% shows excellent control. Since with present medications you are in good shape, there appears to be no reason to change anything. However, since there is no mention about your weight, height, extent of daily exercise, dietary pattern and actual BP readings, TSH levels as well as liid levels, no further comments can be made. But it is clear that your present lifestyle is helping you to maintain good control. The same should be continued. Thanks.
