Dear lybrate-user, it looks like your thyroid functions are normal without thyroxine. The heavy and more frequent menstrual bleeding is probably due to a different reason such as irregular ripening and shedding of endometrium. I suggest that you take ovral g (an oral contraceptive pill) 1 daily for 21 days in a month. Then you stop the tablets for 1 week during which time you will have a normal menses. Take this for 3 cycles and this may regularize your menstrual cycles professor m s seshadri.

Repeat s.tsh on empty stomach. Repeat it twice one month apart. If the s.tsh is within normal range on both the tests, then nothing to worry. It is better to repeat s.tsh at intervals of every 6 months to 1 year.
