Mr Amarnath, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details. It is good to see that you have been able to achieve a good control over the blood glucose levels.. It would have been better had you also mentioned the HbA1c%, that would have given a clearer picture about the control. Since the levels are very well maintained there is really no reason to to change the medication. Because dropping a drug may increase the glucose levels. The other aspect is that there is no mention about your weight, height, dietary pattern and extent of daily exercise, which a play very vital role in glucose control. Hence all the details are known there is no way to give any suggestions or make any changes. Iit is better if you come back with all the details in a private conversation. However, since you are doing quite well I really do not see ther is a need to change your medication.Thanks.

hello because of Medicines your fasting sugar is at boderline and bp is in normal..so you need to take it .. I suggest you to start Homeopathic treatment for both sugar and bp so that slowly we can cut off allopathic medicines.. otherwise you will have to continue above allopathic medicines for lifetime..

Dear amarnath, your inital blood sugar values were very high and you do need to continue your medication. I would suggest the following measures in addition. Monitor blood sugars with glucometer as follows. Fasting and pp on wednesday and 2 hour after lunch and after dinner on sunday and maintain a record. Target values fasting < 120 and after any meal < 160 if your fasting values are > 120 and pp values go above 180, reduce the quantity of carbohydrate (rice, wheat, rava, maida) in each meal and increase the quantity of protein (dhal, soya, egg white, fish or chicken). If in spite of dietary adjustment your sugar levels continue to be high seek a consultation to adjust your anti-diabetic drugs regards,
