My dad is suffering from lever cirrhosis and acsites .pls suggest good diet. Also require water how much to be given?

Avoid meat, fowl,eggs, refined breads, cereals, sugar, foods containing sugar, syrup, treacle, honey. E cow’s and goat’s milk and products e.g. Cheese. Tomatoes, citrus fruit, bananas, avocados. Nuts, coffee, cocoa, alcohol, 2 cups of tea only a day. Chocolate, fried food. Berries (strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, etc.) and apricots, peaches, sultanas, raisins and dates can be eaten twice a week. Foods to be eaten fish (white preferred, limited tinned fish with oil washed off). Pulses – beans, peas and lentils. Tofu – a soya milk product also known as bean curd, available from chinese food shops. Wholemeal bread, unsweetened whole-grain cereals and wholegrains – brown rice, wholewheat pasta. Molasses, unsweetened jams (refrigerate after opening), marmite. Soya milks vegetables, pineapples, grapes, melons. Suitable fruits tinned in natural juice. Almonds, sunflower and sesame seeds. Grain coffees, herb teas, suitable unsweetened fruit juice, rooibosch and maté teas.
Avoid salt as much as you can.
